Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Liquor Store Associate (we like to call you a Customer Service Representative) at our Yates Liquor Store located at 765 Yates St Victoria, BC V8W 1L6. This is a permanent part-time role providing hours each week. Our ideal candidates would be open to a flexible schedule throughout the week, weekends inclusive.

Applicants must be 19+ years of age.

  • Always look for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite.
  • Good with numbers; handling cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Process till transactions, accurate and efficient; including cash, credit and debit transactions and gift card activations.
  • Uses their product knowledge to assist customers and answer questions.
  • Looks out for their safety and the safety of others.
  • Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.
  • Able to be on their feet nearly all of their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds).
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
  • Serving it right certificate required in advance of starting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Besides working with the best group of teammates and fantastic customers, you'll be stocking the store, processing till transactions, and generally ensuring our customers & members are taken care of, and the location is clean and safe.
