More About the Role

We are seeking an
Immigration Lawyer
to join our growing team The ideal candidate brings at least
1–2+ years of Canadian immigration law experience
and is
in good standing with the Barreau du Québec, or another Provincial Law Society.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Immigration Lawyer, you will own the following responsibilities –

  • Assess client eligibility and provide expert guidance on various temporary and permanent immigration pathways.
  • Lead and manage high volumes of immigration files for corporate and individual clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strategic execution.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support case managers, providing clear direction, quality control, and ongoing training.
  • Oversee all stages of file preparation, including reviewing supporting documents, refining case strategies, and finalizing submissions.
  • Coordinate with clients, caseworkers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and an exceptional client experience.
  • Contribute to improving internal processes, team workflows, and quality standards across the law firm.

Key Qualifications:

  • Required:
     Law degree (LL.B., B.C.L. or J.D.)
  • Required:
    Membership of the Barreau du Québec or another Canadian Provincial Law Society
  • Preferred:
    Minimum 1-2 years of Canadian immigration experience preparing and managing temporary and permanent immigration applications
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising, mentoring, or guiding junior staff
  • Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and substantial caseloads
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to develop clear, strategic case plans

Responsabilités principales

  • Évaluer l'admissibilité des clients et offrir des conseils spécialisés sur les différentes voies d'immigration temporaires et permanentes.
  • Diriger et gérer un volume important de dossiers d'immigration pour une clientèle corporative et individuelle, en assurant l'exactitude, le respect des délais et l'exécution stratégique des mandats.
  • Superviser, encadrer et soutenir les gestionnaires de dossiers, en fournissant des directives claires, un contrôle de qualité rigoureux et une formation continue.
  • Superviser toutes les étapes de la préparation des dossiers, y compris l'examen des documents justificatifs, l'élaboration de stratégies de dossier et la finalisation des soumissions.
  • Assurer la coordination avec les clients, les gestionnaires de dossiers et les équipes internes afin de garantir une communication fluide et une expérience client exceptionnelle.
  • Contribuer à l'amélioration des processus internes, des flux de travail et des normes de qualité au sein du cabinet.

Profil recherché

  • Exigé :
    Diplôme en droit (LL.B., B.C.L. ou J.D.)
  • Exigé :
    Membre du Barreau du Québec ou d'un autre ordre professionnel des avocats au Canada
  • Atout :
    Minimum de 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en droit de l'immigration canadien, incluant la préparation et la gestion de demandes d'immigration temporaires et permanentes
  • Solides aptitudes en leadership, avec expérience en supervision, mentorat ou encadrement de personnel junior
  • Capacité démontrée à gérer des échéances concurrentes et un volume important de dossiers
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion des relations clients
  • Jugement analytique développé et capacité à élaborer des stratégies de dossier claires et efficaces
