Company Overview
Our firm is a well-established public practice accounting organization that has been providing Assurance, Accounting, Advisory, and Tax services to owner-managed businesses and professionals for over 60 years. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant, Tax to join our dynamic and professional team.

The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing the tax planning and compliance needs of our clients while providing high-quality advisory support.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare instruction letters to legal counsel, draft technical memos to file, and prepare client reporting letters (subject to review by senior staff members).
  • Conduct research and analysis on various tax issues.
  • Prepare personal, corporate, trust, and partnership tax returns.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members on tax-related topics.
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the implementation and management of tax initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Successfully passed the CFE and has obtained or is in the process of obtaining a CPA designation.
  • Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in the In-Depth Tax Course.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
