Pay:
 CA$20.00-CA$27.00 per hour

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial installation projects.
  • Assemble, install, and position furniture, fixtures, and equipment per floor plans and specifications.
  • Load and unload items safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal risk of damage.
  • Read and interpret installation instructions, drawings, and layouts accurately.
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to complete each job with safety and professionalism.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces before, during, and after each job.
  • Sign in/out tools, vehicles, and materials per company protocol.
  • Represent 
    Sueland Moving
    professionally with clean uniforms and good personal presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Suggest improvements for processes, safety, or efficiency as opportunities arise.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors or project leads.

Critical Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Required: Minimum 2 years of moving experience
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
  • Strong understanding of basic math and ability to take accurate measurements.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate clearly with clients and coworkers.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates initiative and leadership potential when managing tasks.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy items (occasionally over 100 lbs).
  • Attention to detail to ensure precise, high-quality installations.
  • Familiar with safe work practices on job sites and during transport.

Summary

As a Residential & Commercial Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various systems in both residential and commercial settings. Reporting to the installation supervisor, your role is essential in ensuring that all installations meet quality standards. Core skills such as proficiency with hand and power tools, along with basic math for measurements, will be vital for your success.
