Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our team in providing exceptional food service to residents in our Assisted Living facility in Coquitlam. This position requires someone who is takes pride in excellent delivery of food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Support the kitchen staff with food handling, cleaning, and organization of kitchen supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during meal times.
  • Follow proper time management practices to ensure timely meal service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings is preferred.
  • Food Safe Level 1 required
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
  • Experience in serving meals and handling food safely is highly desirable.
  • A passion for working in a kitchen environment and contributing to the well-being of residents.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $22.51-$24.08 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
