Overview

Happy Feet Haven Childcare Agency Inc. is a licensed home child care agency committed to providing nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality early learning environments for children aged 0-4 years. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Visitor to join our growing team. The Home Visitor will support, monitor, and mentor home child care providers across London and surrounding areas to ensure that all programs meet or exceed the standards set out in the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA) and Happy Feet Haven's policies and procedures.

This role is ideal for an ECE professional who is passionate about early childhood development, enjoys working independently, and values meaningful relationships with both providers and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular home visits to licensed providers (minimum quarterly, but often monthly)
  • Observe care environments and complete monitoring checklists
  • Provide coaching, support, and feedback to providers
  • Ensure compliance with CCEYA regulations and agency policies
  • Document all visits and interactions
  • Support providers with program planning and child development
  • Participate in training, agency meetings, and ministry inspections

Requirements

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
  • Current membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (if applicable).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in licensed child care, early learning, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and its regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and maintain detailed records.
  • Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required prior to employment.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for home visits. This role is vital in strengthening families and enhancing community well-being through dedicated home visitation services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.48-$27.68 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
