SEASONAL: Part-Time, 24 hours per week up to 39.5 hours per week

Hourly Wage Rate

$22.58 per hour

Anticipated Normal Work Schedule

Wednesday – Friday: 6:30pm–11:30pm

Saturday – Sunday: 6:30pm – 9:00pm

NOTE: This schedule is subject to change. Incumbent may be required to work weekends and evening hours.

Job Description Summary

• Must be able to perform fast accurate customer transactions in a fast-paced environment. May be required to perform a cashier test.
• Must be able to keep up with high volume customer demands while maintaining our high standards.
• Must successfully complete Second Cup online and practical training.
• Perform all duties of any job classification equivalent or lower filling in wherever needed to assist in our excellent customer service requirement.
• May assume responsibility for opening and closing of facility.
• Maintain the levels of supplies, cleanliness and tidiness of display fridges, merchandisers, counters, walls, shelves, and glass.
• Must adhere to Second Cup standards and Hospitality Policies and procedures including the principles of FIFO.
• Be responsible for delivering and receiving change from other cashiers. Prepare accurate reports and maintain accurate records according to policy/procedure.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand and deliver good customer service.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in fast paced cashier position. (requires Cashier Proficiency Test)
• Must have good communication, reading, writing and English skills.
