Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Support children during playtime, learning activities, and meal times, ensuring their safety and engagement.
  • Provide care and supervision to children, including those with disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support children's individual needs.
  • Support behavioral management strategies that encourage positive interactions and development.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills and educational techniques.
  • Willing to change diapers

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with young children is preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Background in teaching or early childhood education is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience in caregiving roles involving children or individuals requiring special support is advantageous.
