Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Receptionist to replace retiring dental receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in medical and dental administrative support, and a passion for providing outstanding patient service. As a Dental Receptionist, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, handle insurance verification, and maintain accurate medical records, ensuring smooth office operations and a welcoming environment for all patients.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a positive first impression.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Live DDM.
- Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing procedures .
- Collect payments .

- Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information .
- Maintain organized filing of dental records .
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries efficiently.

- Support clinic operations by coordinating front desk activities, managing dental scheduling, and handling clerical tasks such as filing and data entry.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate care plans and ensure seamless communication between patients and providers.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive health information.

- Proven experience in dental office administration with familiarity using practice management software like Dentrix or Live DDM
