We are looking to add a
Senior Product Owner – Integrations
to our Engineering team in Vancouver, Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative, customer-focused product professional who has strong experience with integrations and middleware and is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll be embedded in Engineering and trusted to drive your work forward with autonomy and creativity. You will help shape and execute how MineSense products connect with customer systems – ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and deliver operational value to our customers.
If you're passionate about delivering quality integrations, managing complexity thoughtfully, and growing into a more senior product leadership role over time, this could be the role for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership – Integrations
- Define and prioritise backlog for integrations initiatives between MineSense product and customer systems, platforms, and tools.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deeply understand integration use cases, system workflows, and customer needs.
- Balance customer-specific requests with long-term scalability and maintainability of integration and middleware solutions.
- Work closely with customer stakeholders to understand, document and sign-off on system integration requirements.
- Develop clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria that drive development of high-quality integration features.
- Champion pragmatic, technically sound solutions that support both short-term delivery and long-term system health.
- Contribute to building a scalable integration strategy aligned with MineSense's broader product roadmap.
- Define and track project milestones and key metrics to measure success and impact of integrations.
- Stay informed about integration best practices, middleware technologies, industrial IoT trends, and mining operational systems.
- Additional duties as required.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Delivery Leadership
- Serve as the go-to point of contact for all integration-related features and initiatives.
- Help manage scope, risks, and trade-offs to ensure integration solutions meet both functional and technical expectations.
- Promote best practices for requirements gathering, documentation, and release readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a similar discipline is preferred.
- 4-6+ years of experience in product ownership, technical business analysis, or product management roles.
- Solid understanding of system integration, APIs, data pipelines, and middleware concepts.
- Experience delivering integrations for ruggedized, industrial, or operational systems is an asset.
- Ability to balance customer requirements with technical realities and long-term maintainability.
- Exposure to software development practices (Agile, DevOps) and working closely with engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on application and scalability.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Fluency of Spanish is an asset given our customer base.
- Self-starter, highly organized, with a growth mindset and passion for impactful solutions.
- Health & Safety conscious individual.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on their experience, knowledge and skills they bring to MineSense, market data based on their location as well as internal equity. Keeping this mind, the salary offered can be outside of the range posted.
