Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate AI Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll partner with our clients to identify AI opportunities, design and implement solutions, and measure impact. You'll serve as both a strategist and a hands-on technologist—guiding businesses from concept through deployment to value realisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand business goals, pain-points, and workflows relevant to the service industry.
• Conduct assessments and AI opportunity scans: identify where automation, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI techniques can drive improvement.
• Develop solution blueprints: define data requirements, models, integrations, change-management considerations, KPI frameworks, and business cases.
• Lead prototype development or partner with engineering teams to deliver pilot solutions.
• Oversee roll-out into production, including monitoring, optimisation, user adoption support, and scaling.
• Measure business impact: track hours saved, revenue uplift, cost reductions, and other success metrics consistent with CanAI Solutions' value proposition.
• Provide client training, documentation, and ongoing advisory support.
• Stay current with AI trends, tools and frameworks, especially those relevant to service-oriented business use-cases and the Canadian business environment.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of consulting or professional services experience in AI/ML or advanced analytics roles.
• Demonstrable track record: you've worked end-to-end on AI projects (opportunity identification → design → development → deployment → value measurement).
• Strong understanding of machine learning, NLP, computer vision, or automation technologies and when to apply them.
• Excellent business acumen: you can translate technical possibilities into business outcomes and articulate ROI.
• Great communicator: able to engage with C-suite, business stakeholders, and technical teams; adept at managing change and user adoption.
• Experience working with service-oriented businesses (e.g., professional services, customer support, logistics, operations) is a strong asset.
• Proficiency in data-strategy, architecture and integrations (e.g., cloud platforms, APIs, data pipelines).
• Comfortable in rapidly changing environments; self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field — or equivalent applied experience.
