Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance to ensure all areas are safe and functional.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants.
  • Handle heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Previous custodial experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within designated time frames.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during cleaning operations.
