Role Description

This is an on-site part-time role for the Needle Debris Team located in Red Deer, AB. The team member will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, identifying and safely collecting needle debris, reporting hazardous materials, and collaborating with local authorities. The role also involves engaging with the community to promote safety and cleanliness in the downtown area.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in identifying and safely handling hazardous materials
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong observation skills
  • Physically fit and able to perform outdoor tasks, including walking and lifting
  • Previous experience in community work or public safety is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
