Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team to service GTA West region to do warranty calls for different manufacturers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience in appliance repair, including electrical and HVAC systems. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues with appliances and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
  • Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and any additional services required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Stay updated with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Must have TSSA G3 or DA
  • Must be incorporated
  • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read schematics is essential.
  • Experience in HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license may be required for travel to customer locations.
