DESCRIPTION

Are you customer-focused, a great communicator, love working with technology, and have an eye for detail?

The customer service team at Mopify is looking to add someone just like you. This role supports both customers and service providers via phone, chat, SMS and email.

Located in our Ottawa office, you'll learn to master our internal systems and make sure operations ticks-along smoothly as usual.

This is a full-time position that requires some afternoon, evening, or weekend work. We also offer an extensive benefits package, opportunity to work from home most of the time, and other perks.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

You'll need to:

  • Have a high level of reliability
  • Have a track record of success in a fast-paced customer-facing role
  • Be a people person → you love helping people and get satisfaction from it
  • Be a great communicator. You can explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way
  • Have the aptitude to learn quickly, think on your feet, and come up with solutions to problems that get thrown your way
  • Possess the tenacity to see your tasks through to completion
  • Be dependable and adaptable
  • Be detail-oriented
  • Have the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
  • Be willing to work some evening and weekend shifts

Even better if you:

  • Have experience providing customer support with tools such as live chat, SMS and an email ticketing/queuing system
  • Speak other languages
  • Have a technical background
