Internal Opportunity: Business Credit Administrator (6-Month Term)

Location: Any branch, PEI

We're currently seeking an internal candidate to join our Business Services Credit Solutions team as a Business Credit Administrator (BCA) for a 6-month term. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial lending, deepen your understanding of credit administration, and collaborate with a skilled and supportive team that's passionate about helping local businesses succeed.

As a Business Credit Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the effective administration of our commercial loan portfolio. You'll ensure loan documentation, security registrations, and reporting are completed accurately and efficiently — helping our Business Credit team deliver exceptional service and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and process commercial loan documentation, disbursements, and related transactions in accordance with policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update loan and security records, ensuring all documentation is compliant and complete.
  • Maintain master lists of security agreements, renewals, and Letters of Credit.
  • Respond to member and internal inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with teammates to enhance processes and support a positive, service-oriented culture.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma plus a minimum of two years' experience in a financial institution, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort learning new systems.

At the end of this 6-month term, the successful candidate will return to their current role with enhanced experience and a deeper understanding of our business operations.
