Nursing Supervisor – VIDA Dermatology (South & West Clinics)Overview

VIDA Dermatology is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our leadership team as we continue to grow with the expansion of our second location in West Edmonton.

The Nursing Supervisor will oversee nursing operations across both VIDA South and VIDA West, ensuring the highest standard of medical and aesthetic care, patient safety, and clinical excellence. This position requires flexibility to work between both sites, leading by example and supporting a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Medical Director, and in partnership with the Clinic Supervisor, the Nursing Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining VIDA's reputation for exceptional care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise the nursing team across both VIDA South and VIDA West locations to ensure consistent standards of care and clinic efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and maintain nursing procedures and protocols aligned with CPSA requirements, infection control standards, and VIDA Dermatology's internal policies.
• Provide ongoing clinical training and mentorship to nurses, including hands-on education for dermatology, aesthetic, and injectable procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling for all nursing staff, ensuring balanced coverage and smooth operations between both locations.
• Oversee and manage nursing supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking all injectables, disposables, backbar, and medical supplies.
• Facilitate product and treatment education for nursing staff, focusing on VIDA's medical-grade skincare lines (Vivier, ZO, Colorescience, etc.) to enhance patient care and retail confidence.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, aestheticians, and MOAs to ensure seamless patient flow and communication between teams.
• Review documentation within MedAccess EMR to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support new nurse onboarding and ensure standardized training and clinical integration.
• Participate in clinical event preparation, demonstrations, and educational initiatives as needed.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient experience, workflow, and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, or a related clinical field.
• Active LPN or RN license in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) or the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a medical or aesthetic setting.
• Strong knowledge of dermatologic and cosmetic procedures, injectables, and skincare protocols.
• Experience with MedAccess EMR or similar systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• In-depth understanding of infection control, sterilization, and patient safety standards.
• Passion for professional development, team mentorship, and maintaining VIDA's high clinical standards.
• Flexibility to work and rotate between VIDA South and VIDA West locations as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
