Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an HR & HSE Manager, based in Calgary, AB. The HR & HSE Manager will oversee health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities include implementing occupational health programs, recruitment, pre-screening, and advising hiring managers, delivering onboarding programs, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. The role also involves coordinating with various stakeholders to enhance workplace safety and employee well-being.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health policies and frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in recruiting, pre-screening, onboarding and off-boarding
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Skilled in designing compensation plans for intermediate thru senior roles
  • Prior experience in a similar role within technology or industrial sector
