BI Pure Water, a leading engineering and manufacturing firm based in Surrey, BC is seeking an intermediate Electrical Engineer to assist with their increasing volume of custom fabricated water treatment systems. For over 30 years, BI Pure Water has provided clean and safe drinking water to numerous remote and First Nations communities across Canada. With a focus on environmental protection and sustainability, BI Pure Water also supports municipal and industrial clients to comply with environmental wastewater regulations, offering state of the art treatment systems.

The successful applicant would join our team of dedicated engineers and technicians, creating innovative and sustainable design solutions for a wide variety of clients.

Responsibilities:

· Develop design approaches for both containerized and modular building systems.

· Perform electrical design for water and wastewater treatment plants, including power distribution and control systems.

· Integrate emergency generators, HVAC systems, boilers, and furnaces into overall electrical designs.

· Design power and control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

· Select and source appropriate electrical equipment, raceways, connectors, cable types, and control components to support both factory production and site installation needs.

· Manage multiple projects effectively through strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

· Collaborate as a project team member, reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager.

· Perform site visits or customer site travel as required to support design implementation or troubleshooting.

· Apply a thorough knowledge of design procedures, specifications, and engineering software tools.

· Demonstrate a strong familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and be able to apply it to designs.

· Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong organizational abilities in all project activities.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
