Work Description:

As a Mitigation Crew Leader at NHC 24/7 Inc. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of technicians during disaster restoration projects. You will lead efforts to mitigate damage caused by water, fire, mold, and other environmental hazards. This includes assessing the situation, organizing tasks, ensuring the use of proper techniques and equipment, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the restoration process.

This position requires being available every 3 week for the on call rotation schedule

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform fire cleaning services to restore properties damaged by smoke and fire, ensuring complete removal of shoot and odor
  • Conduct water damage mitigation for Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, including water extraction, drying, and restoration 
  • Execute mold remediation and cleaning in affected areas, following all safety protocols
  • Carry out Type 1 and Type 2 asbestos removal; perform Type 3 removal upon completion of certification
  • Provide board-up services for damaged properties to secure premises
  • Pack, clean, and organize contents affected by water, fire, or mold, ensuring safe handling 
  • Manage movement of contents on-site and off-site for storage or cleaning 
  • Complete required job documentation, including moisture mapping, atmospheric sheets, time sheets, work orders, ER sheets, and equipment release/pick-up forms
  • Capture and upload photographic evidence of each job visit to the NHC document management system
  • Collect two sets of flooring samples from damaged areas: one left on-site and one brought to the shop
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and record findings on inspection sheets
  • Ensure vehicle is stocked with all necessary tools and materials for job completion
  • Clean and maintain all restoration equipment and ensure cleanliness of the shop and work environment
  • Identify hazards in the work area and report them promptly to crew and supervisor
  • Obtain purchase order (PO) numbers for required materials or job items
  • Support supervisor with additional tasks and responsibilities as requested
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Description de poste: 
En tant que chef d'équipe en mitigation chez NHC 24/7 Inc., vous serez responsable de superviser et de gérer une équipe de techniciens lors de projets de restauration après sinistre. Vous dirigerez les interventions visant à atténuer les dommages causés par l'eau, le feu, la moisissure et autres risques environnementaux. Cela comprend l'évaluation de la situation, l'organisation des tâches, l'assurance de l'utilisation des bonnes techniques et équipements, et le maintien de normes de qualité élevées tout au long du processus de restauration.

Ce poste nécessite d'être disponible toutes les 3 semaines pour les périodes de garde

Responsabilités principales: 

  • Effectuer le nettoyage après incendie afin de restaurer les propriétés endommagées par la fumée et le feu, en assurant l'élimination complète de la suie et des odeurs
  • Réaliser la mitigation des dégâts d'eau (catégories 1, 2 et 3), incluant l'extraction d'eau, le séchage et la restauration
  • Exécuter la décontamination et le nettoyage des moisisures dans les zones touchées, selon les protocoles de sécurité
  • Effectuer l'enlèvement d'amiante de type 1, 2 effectuer le type 3 après avoir obtenu la certification
  • Fournir des services de fermeture et de sécurisation des propriétés endommagées
  • Emballer, nettoyer et organiser les contenus affectés par l'eau, le feu ou la moisissure en assurant une manipulation sécuritaire 
  • Gérer le déplacement des contenus sur place et hors site pour l'entreposage ou le nettoyage
  • Compléter toute la documentation requise, y compris la cartographie de l'humidité, les fiches atmosphériques, les feuilles de temps, les bons de travail, les feuilles d'intervention et les formulaires de remise ou récupération d'équipement
  • Prendre et téléverser des preuves photographiques à chaque visite dans le système de gestion documentaire de NHC
  • Prélever deux échantillons de revêtement de sol endommagé par projet : un laissé sur place et un ramené à l'atelier
  • Effectuer des inspections quotidiennes du véhicule et consigner les résultats sur les fiches prévue
  • S'assurer que le véhicule est bien approvisionné en outils et matériaux nécessaires à l'exécution des travaux
  • Nettoyer et entretenir tout l'équipement de restauration et veiller à la propreté de l'environnement de travail, y compris l'atelier
  • Identifier les dangers sur les lieux de travail et les signaler rapidement à l'équipe et au superviseur
  • Obtenir les numéros de bon de commande (PO) pour les matériaux et articles nécessaires
  • Apporter un soutien au superviseur pour toute tâche ou responsabilité supplémentaire
  • Exécuter toute autre tâche assignée par le superviseur
