Join our dedicated team as a Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of support. As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate assistance to clients in various settings, including homes, group homes, and assisted living facilities. What you'll do

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient conditions to ensure optimal care.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning tailored to individual dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
  • Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers.
  • Engage with clients diagnosed with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, or dementia through tailored activities and memory care techniques.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health or long-term care.
  • Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques to ensure client safety.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality in patient care.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience working in nursing homes or hospice care settings.
  • Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring for changes in health status.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
  • Background in social work or experience supporting individuals with autism or other disabilities.
