Do you love being the person who keeps things organized, makes clients feel welcome, and keeps a team moving forward? Community Futures Grande Prairie is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our team.
As part of the national Community Futures network, we support local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and community growth. Our Administrative Coordinator is the hub of the office — managing front-line client service, keeping operations running smoothly, and lending a hand with events, communications, and projects that support our mission

What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for clients and partners — answering inquiries, welcoming visitors, and connecting them with the right resources.
- Keep the office running smoothly by managing supplies, mail, scheduling, and general organization.
- Support meetings and Board activities with agendas, minutes, logistics, and materials;
- Assist with workshops, community events, and special projects — from RSVPs to room setup.
- Help with communications, including website updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Compile statistics and maintain records to support program reporting and annual reports.
- Pitch in on other projects as needed — whether it's updating the organizational chart, coordinating marketing materials, or setting up a community event.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Office/Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years in an administrative or office coordination role, preferably in a non-profit or business development setting.
- Experience supporting Boards or committees; event or meeting coordination is an asset.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and database/CRM tools; able to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Social Media experience is a definite asset
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills with initiative and foresight; strong client service focus.

- Professional and approachable in all interactions.
- Able to manage sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn.
Other Requirements
- Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check (may be required).
- Ability to travel within the region for vents and community activities, including occasional evenings or weekends.
