Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Transportation Manager located in Brandon, MB. The Transportation Manager will oversee daily operations related to transportation and fleet management, including coordinating shipments, planning routes, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role requires monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and optimizing efficiency. Additional tasks include cultivating positive relationships with staff, suppliers, and customers, and addressing any service-related concerns effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Operations Management and Transportation Management
  • Solid understanding of Fleet Management, including vehicle maintenance and logistics
  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient scheduling and issue resolution
  • Knowledge of transportation-related regulations and safety compliance is an advantage
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools related to transportation and logistics management
  • A bachelor's degree in Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within the transportation or logistics industry is highly valuable
