SUMMARY

The Yard Winter Maintenance Worker

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in various operations of snow removal (loader, snow scraper, pick-up/salt spreader, etc.). Shovel all walkways, entrances/exits and between vehicles during the winter months and spread salt when required.
• Building rental parking area for customers and personal clean & cleared by 6:30am for there operations.
• Pre-trip all equipment prior to use (loader, pick-up, landscaping equipment, etc.) and report deficiencies.
• Maintain and assist with repairs of the equipment used for each task, such as loaders, plows, lawn mowers, chainsaws, hand tools, etc.
• Responsible to understand company Occupational Safety and Health regulations and abide by all company policies and procedures. Always be aware of safety sensitive areas.
• Responsible for a daily walk-around throughout the building Document required maintenance issues.
• Ensure all vehicles are plugged in during winter months.
• All other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• One year (1) of experience equivalent to the job description required.
• AZ license (Class 1) license preferred.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and a team player.
• A positive attitude, dependable, and respectful with clients and co-workers.
• Good understanding of safe work practices and ability to safely operate dock equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Hours may vary depending on organization needs.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
