Service Writer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team at AES Mechanic Services. We are located 5 minutes south of Tomahawk, AB by the Berrymoor Bridge. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their automotive service needs are met with exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage service requests.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs, providing expert advice on necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Accurately document customer concerns and service requests in the system to ensure clear communication with the service team.
• Coordinate with technicians to transmit information regarding repairs, and tire services.
• Provide detailed estimates for services, ensuring transparency in pricing and timelines.
• Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional work that may be required or recommended.
• Manage customer expectations throughout the service process, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to shop policies and procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in automotive service writing is required.
• Proven track record in customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building relationships with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
