About the Opportunity

Essence Cabinets is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver. The Driver will load and unload cabinets safely while adhering to the delivery schedule. In this role you will be required to schedule routes by maximizing time management skills; Loading, unloading, and preparing delivery vehicles; Delivering products to customers; Completing delivery logs and reports; Ensuring inventory loads match delivery documents; Inspecting and maintaining a vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues as required; and working closely with other departments to ensure products needed for customer orders are delivered on a timely basis.

The expectations of this role are the individual MUST be able to drive; compile with all company safety rules, policies and procedures; Provide exceptional support to both internal and external clients while building and maintain lasting relationships with customers. excellent routing skills, problem-solving and is logistic knowledge of the city of Edmonton and area. This is job requires heavy lifting, up to 150lbs with assistance. You will be required to work Mon-Fri with the length of the day varying depending on the number of deliveries for that day. A clean class 5 driver's abstract is required, and the ability to drive a 5-ton vehicle.

You have excellent analytical and effective problem-solving skills and take the initiative to offer solutions to improve written and verbal communication. You can set priorities effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

The Successful Candidate will have the following requirements satisfied

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment
• Unrestricted Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Clean driver's abstract to be provided prior to offer of employment being issued
