The priority duty of this position is to assist the sales team with design skills that will benefit opportunity specification and project management. This position could be involved in project management of projects in various stages or from initial concept through to production. The position reports to the sales manager.

  • Utilize Salesforce to manage all activities and maintain data on a daily basis
  • Partner with the sales team and clients to utilize internal design tools
  • Ability to interpret dimensions from client specifications using CAD
  • Utilize knowledge of design tools, such as Sketchup or Revit, to create site layouts for customers, across all sales territories.

Role

  • Promptly respond to client inquires regarding modular design via Maglin Product Builder, internet, or phone
  • Promptly respond to Sales team members – to assist with modular product drawings, when required
  • Complete all opportunity management activities and ensure the achievement of all potential opportunities
  • Interact with customers to ensure design goals are achieved.
  • Use design tools to create site layouts for customer presentations ie. working with end users to show how products can look within a space
  • Follow up with customers to ensure drawing accuracy and to assist with specification process.
  • Manage drawing approvals between Sales and Engineering/MOP?
  • Interact with other internal departments to ensure positive client experiences and interactions

Previous experience with SalesForce, CAD, and SketchUp is an asset.
