We're looking for a Salesforce Solution Engineer to join our team and be part of our next stage of growth. As our Salesforce Solution Engineer, your top priority is to support our pre-sales and engagement teams to assist customers and lead strategies to bring innovative solutions that map Salesforce and Traction Rec solutions to meet customer needs, support the sales cycle, set client expectations on future state, and set up the customer for long term success. You will use your industry experience and technology expertise to assist customers managing change, evolving their business process and maximizing their technology investment. You will work cross functionally with our product, services, support, sales and engagement teams to enable the success of our customers.

Skills
Traction Rec'rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. For this role, you might have:
- 3+ years of experience creating solutions on the platform
- Strong business acumen combined with an understanding of client operational software, business applications and SaaS solutions
- Experience partnering with stakeholders to match business requirements to technology solutions
- Experience teaching or demonstrating the impact of technology to business stakeholders; experience as a Solution/Sales Engineer or similar experience working to deliver projects using the Salesforce platform with significant exposure working directly with customers to ideate and estimate solutions
- Salesforce Admin Certification, with 1 or more additional Salesforce certifications such as Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, App Builder, Experience Cloud Consultant preferred
- Ability to build strong relationships and drive conversations with C Level executives as well as staff at all levels and external stakeholder
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task with ease
- Embraces a solution oriented mindset; sees challenges as opportunities to solve, not problems to overcome
- Proven ability to make sound decisions independently
- Project or program management experience an asset
- Bonus points if you've worked in nonprofit, community centers before.
What You Will Be Doing
- Prospect Discovery & Solution Design
- Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer goals and challenges related to digital transformation.
- Collaborate with clients to identify needs, diagnose issues, and develop tailored technical and business solutions.
- Design solutions that align with client objectives, leveraging business and technical expertise.
- Technical Leadership & Deliverables
- Define technical requirements and scope for prospective clients during the sales process.
- Craft and deliver high-impact demos, proofs of concept, and solution presentations showcasing Traction Rec and Salesforce capabilities.
- Support the creation of RFP/RFI's and statements of work (SOWs)
- Collaboration & Strategic Guidance
- Partner with sales, engagement teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive client success and scalability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding their adoption and growth on our platform.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for presales, professional services, and system migration projects.
- Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Enhance presales processes by simplifying, standardizing, and improving accuracy and scalability.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex challenges and drive innovation.
- Client Engagement
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives, to articulate solution benefits.
- Travel to clients and events, as required (Must be able to travel in Canada and US, without restriction)
Compensation
At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.
The starting salary band for this role is $100,000-$110,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role.
