About the Role:
We Are Looking To Welcome An Energetic Self-starter, Mechanically Inclined And Detail-oriented Machine Operator To Join Our Edmonton Team. The Ideal Candidate Enjoys Working In a Team-oriented Environment And Embraces Our Continuous Improvement Working Culture. We Are Hiring On Our Afternoon Shift

  • Monday-Friday 2:15PM-10:45PM

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing/manufacturing corrugated products in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Ensure finished goods are packaged and tagged accurately to be ready for shipping
  • Operate machines such as a large laminator, small bandsaw and pallet jack to move materials
  • Ensure processes and systems are being followed properly and that paperwork is filled out accordingly, accurately and forwarded on time
  • Complete orders on time and maintain our 99% on-time delivery goal
  • Responsible for the quality of products manufactured
  • Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and inform appropriate personnel of any problems
  • Count inventory as required
  • Make samples as required

Qualifications And Skills

  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to work well with people in a team environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Desire to learn and succeed
  • Good organization skills and reliable work habits
  • Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions
  • Previous machine operating experience is preferred
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, as this position requires lifting, bending and moderate physical exertion
