Qualifications:

Arborist Apprentice:

  • Entry-level to 1–2 years arboriculture experience
  • G driver's license in good standing (D/Z license a plus)
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
  • Motivated, punctual, and a team player

Experienced Arborist:

  • 2–3+ years hands-on arboriculture experience
  • Skilled in tree pruning, removal, planting, and health assessments
  • AR/DZ license required
  • Comfortable with climbing, rigging, and bucket truck operation
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead small teams

Key Responsibilities (Based on Role & Experience):

  • Tree climbing and rigging
  • Pruning, removal, and stump grinding
  • Tree health assessments and soil analysis
  • Tree planting and hedge trimming
  • Bucket truck and chipper operation
  • Structural support installation and fertilization
  • Customer interaction and job site communication
  • Equipment maintenance and safe operation
  • Site clean-up and yard/shop duties
