As our Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Corporate Controller you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. What You Bring:

• Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Build and maintain financial models to support budgets, forecasts, and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and performance recommendations.
• Design, maintain, and automate dashboards and KPI reporting using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Conduct variance, cost, and margin analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts and working capital reports.
• Support audits and compliance requirements, including HST, WSIB, and other regulatory filings.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Mentor or guide junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Lead or assist in strategic initiatives such as ERP implementations, automation efforts, and business case analyses

Skill Factors (education, experience, communication, technical, etc.)

• 4–7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA designation (or actively pursuing).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA, or modeling).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in transportation or logistics is an asset.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.
• Be reliable, on time, and detail oriented.
