Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management team by ensuring smooth operations and maintaining excellent relationships with tenants. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a customer-focused mindset.

Duties

  • Assist in the daily operations of property management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize Spectra software for data entry. Understanding of accounting required.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant files, lease agreements, and property documentation.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and report any issues to the Property Manager
  • Leasing of units as they become available. Advertising, scheduling and showing units

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or a related field
  • Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Proficient in office tasks including data entry, file management, and phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with Spectra or similar property management software is a plus or microsoft word and excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
