About the Role:
Reporting
The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete internal audits as required to maintain the Avmax Quality Assurance program.
- Review and maintain supplier self-audits and maintain the Company's vendor/supplier list.
- Complete customer self-audits and maintain customer files.
- Follow up on internal audit findings.
- Conduct investigations as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) preferred.
- Relevant education, experience, and knowledge of aviation regulations and quality control procedures.
- A thorough understanding of the requirement outlined in the AS9100 standard preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
- Demonstrates ability to motivate employees.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in an aviation environment, particularly in quality assurance or inspection roles, is essential.
- Proficiency in conducting audits, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up.
- Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), particularly those related to airworthiness and maintenance, is crucial.
- Familiar with the principles of Quality Management System (QMS) and how they are applied within an aerospace context, including document control, process control, and continuous improvement is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
- Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
