What You'll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and support your management team, ensuring the successful delivery of customs brokerage services within your region
  • Manage overall regional goals, including profit and loss outcomes, and ensure operational efficiency by monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Foster business development by networking and promoting customs brokerage, consulting, warehousing, and freight forwarding services
  • Analyze performance indicators and implement procedures to enhance efficiencies
  • Oversee recruitment, orientation, and performance reviews for your team, setting goals and fostering a high level of morale
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and resolve disputes or complaints when necessary
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional strategies with company objectives and contribute to corporate projects
What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of senior supervisory/management experience in the customs brokerage industry
  • Professional designations such as CCS, CTCS, or other relevant industry qualifications
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor staff and influence through cultural change
  • Deep knowledge of customs brokerage procedures and processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with e-commerce/electronic integration
  • Ability to analyze and interpret key performance indicators, with a focus on driving profitability
