Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in dental and medical office management, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our practice runs efficiently while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the dental practice, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Supervise and train staff, including dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative personnel.
- Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and appointment management to optimize practice efficiency.
- Handle human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and manage budgets while monitoring expenses to ensure financial health of the practice.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to medical terminology standards.
- Utilize Dentrix software for practice management tasks including billing, insurance verification, and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental office or medical office setting is required
- Strong knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Experience in supervising staff with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Background in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and team collaboration.
