Techblazers, originally known as RoboEDU, has been established since 2014 and has been around for ten years. It is the pioneer and leader in Canadian science and technology education, and the only institution in Canada that provides technology education across the east and west coasts. Over the past few years, we have served over 3000 students, mainly targeting students aged 4-18.

Our school offers a diverse and comprehensive range of educational courses, including robotics technology, programming, 3D design, artificial intelligence, and special courses to prepare students for various competitions and real-world challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • To encourage students building Lego based projects with motors and sensors and coding blocks learning as well.
  • Encourage students to solve problems with the projects by thinking logically and creatively.
  • Implement all policies and rules governing student life, inform students of reasonable rules concerning classroom procedures and behaviors, and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Assess the accomplishments of students in a variety of ways on a regular basis and provide feedback to parents and management.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced with or studied in STEM-related fields such as Science, Technologies, Engineering, and Math.
  • Experience with Lego building
  • Proficiency in Python or scratch
  • Passionate about teaching and experienced in motivating children to learn and explore new ideas in class.
  • Full-time college students are welcome.

Location: Richmond Hill, Toronto

This job type includes Freelance and Parttime. The salary ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. The schedule for this role is every weekday after 4pm and weekend, and the work will be conducted in person.
