Job Description:

Note: These are part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting January 4, 2026 and ending February 21, 2026.
 

Note: These positions are located at 1764 Oxford St E, London, ON N5V 3R6. 

Fanshawe College is seeking interested and qualified professionals to teach part-time in the Automotive Industries of Canada (AIA Canada) Electric Vehicle (EV) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in the School of Manufacturing, Science, and Transportation.  

Duties: Reporting to the Program Manager of School of Manufacturing, Science, and Transportation, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the AIA Canada program and developing an effective learning environment for students. 
 
General Qualifications: 

•    Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success 

•    Excellent communicator 

•    Strong interpersonal skills 

•    Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners 

•    Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required 

•    Experience in formal teaching positions (i.e. Clinical instructors, teaching assistants, classroom leadership, etc.) an asset 

•    Proven ability to work in a team environment 

•    Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets  

Specific Qualifications:  

•    Must have Certificate of Qualification – 310S Automotive Service Technician

•    Minimum 5 years of recent practical work experience

•    An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
