Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and friendly service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your ability to manage time effectively while multitasking will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests while ensuring proper presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
  • Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both dining and kitchen areas.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals and manage order flow.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in food service or hospitality roles.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
  • Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
