Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing constructive feedback
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success
  • Incorporate technology and innovative teaching tools to enhance learning experiences
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote a respectful and productive atmosphere

Experience

  • Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required; relevant internships or student teaching placements are valuable
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter relevant to the assigned grade level or specialty area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies based on student needs and feedback
  • Familiarity with educational technology platforms and tools is a plus
  • A passion for education, patience, creativity, and the ability to motivate students are essential qualities for success in this role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.75-$45.11 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
