Montana Group of Companies Ltd. is a successful, fast-growing flatbed-oriented transportation company operating 150+ trucks across North America. We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Inbound Dispatcher to join our operations team.

Position Overview

The Inbound Dispatcher is responsible for booking inbound loads from the U.S. to Canada, planning driver schedules, coordinating flatbed shipments, and communicating effectively with brokers, customers, and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book and secure inbound loads from U.S.-based brokers and clients.
  • Plan, assign, and dispatch drivers based on availability, location, and load requirements.
  • Communicate with brokers, shippers, and customers regarding load status and updates.
  • Use load boards such as DAT, Loadlink, and other TMS software to source and manage loads.
  • Track and monitor trips to ensure timely pick-up and delivery.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of loads, communications, and driver schedules.
  • Work closely with the operations team to maximize fleet efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of dispatching experience in trucking/transportation (flatbed experience is an asset).
  • Experience using DAT, Loadlink, and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of U.S.–Canada cross-border logistics is an advantage.
  • Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Work Environment

  • In-person role at our Bolton, ON office.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
