Role Description

This is an entry level role for a competent and skilled Revit Modeller located in Mississauga, ON. The successful candidate will report to Project Executives and be responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models via Revit and other software such as AutoCad, Sketch Up, or others. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting 3D laser scanning via Leica 360 scanning cameras, creating point cloud files and dollhouses. Additional responsibilities include submittal preparation and detailing of various construction assemblies by interpreting drawings and schematics, cooridination with other design professionals, manufacturers, and professionals. The role also includes scheduling and coordinating project master schedules via MS project.

Qualifications

  • Revit and AutoCad skills and expertise via Autodesk tools
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in design/engineering
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Project Management Software and Tools
  • Basic knowledge of Construction Processes and Terminology
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from a Canadian University.
  • Previous internship or work experience in construction is a plus

Compensation

  • Salary will begin at $55,000.00 with bonuses/commission based on performance. Annual increases thereafter.
  • Health and Dental Benefits will begin after 3 months probationary period
  • Group RRSP and Profit Share will be be available after probation
  • 2 Weeks vacation progressing to 3 after 5 years.
