We are seeking a self-motivated, compassionate and skilled ND to join our incredible team

Responsibilities

· Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, lifestyle evaluation, physical examinations, and lab result reviews.

· Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating natural remedies, nutritional counseling, herbal medicine, homeopathy, physical therapies, and lifestyle modifications.

· Administer treatments such as acupuncture, hydrotherapy, nutritional supplementation, and botanical medicine, while educating patients on self-care strategies.

· Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and follow-up care.

· Collaborate with other practitioners within our clinic, as well as conventional medical doctors and specialists, to ensure comprehensive, integrative care.

· Educate patients on disease prevention, holistic health principles, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term wellness.

· Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient consultations, assessments, and treatments using the Jane EMR system.

Qualifications & Skills

· In-depth knowledge of naturopathic medicine principles, modalities, and therapies.

· Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

· Empathy and compassion to provide personalized and patient-centered care.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex medical conditions and develop effective treatment plans.

· Organizational skills to manage patient caseload, maintain records, and schedule appointments.

· Ability to stay updated on the latest research and developments in naturopathic medicine.

Requirements

· Graduation from an accredited naturopathic medical program.

· Successful completion of national board examinations and a valid license to practice as a Naturopathic Physician in Alberta.

· Continuing education to maintain licensure and stay updated on advancements in the field.

· Experience in clinical practice, preferably under the supervision of an experienced Naturopathic Physician.

· A strong commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care.

· Compassionate and committed to providing superior care for patients.

· IV therapy and injections certifications are an asset.

· Interest in being part of a team and providing integrative care to patients.

Pay: $46,494.51-$147,326.62 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
