Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards. The Plumber will work on various projects, including residential and commercial plumbing installations.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
  • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Perform routine inspections on plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Handle heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment to job sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.

Skills

  • Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately for proper installation of plumbing systems.
  • Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials between job sites.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is beneficial for integrated projects involving heating and cooling systems.
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely as required by the job demands.
