Social Media Coordinator

Job Overview
Are you the kind of person who sees stories everywhere — in a fresh coffee, a behind-the-scenes moment, or the glow of sunset hitting a new building? If turning everyday moments into creative, scroll-stopping content excites you, we'd love to meet you.
Progressive Real Estate Group is hiring a Social Media & Content Coordinator who's creative, resourceful, and passionate about visual storytelling.
You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager to execute content strategies, manage digital platforms, and produce engaging content across multiple brands — from luxury apartments to construction services.
This is a hands-on, growth-focused role where you'll be behind the camera, editing content, writing captions, and helping shape the digital identity of some of Winnipeg's most exciting developments.
What You'll Do
- Design and create eye-catching visuals for social media and digital campaigns
- Develop, schedule, and manage social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Capture and edit photo and video content showcasing properties, amenities, and construction progress
- Write engaging captions and respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure all content aligns with campaign goals and brand voice
- Track and adapt to social trends, formats, and trending audio to keep content fresh and competitive
- Review analytics, measure performance, and suggest improvements to grow reach and engagement
- Represent the brand confidently — both behind and in front of the camera during shoots and walkthroughs
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and other editing tools
- Strong photography and videography skills, with the ability to shoot and edit high-quality content
- A storyteller at heart, focused on driving engagement and building authentic brand awareness
- Deep understanding of social platform performance — you know what works on TikTok vs. Instagram vs. LinkedIn
- Familiar with SEO principles and keyword research for improved discoverability
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive — able to manage multiple brands and deadlines
- Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera to bring brand personality to life
- A team player who thrives in a creative, flexible, and fast-paced environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Drone experience
- Experience working at a Canadian marketing agency or in-house creative team
- Experience with paid social media campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.)
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Media, or related field, or equivalent experience
