We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Breakdown Maintenance Support
- Receive phone calls from the field related to equipment breakdowns.
- Create work orders from breakdown calls and incorporate planned or requested maintenance items into the work order for technicians.
- Communicate with Maintenance Foremen regarding work orders for scheduling purposes.
Work Order & Costing Management
- Enter parts into work orders for accurate costing before closing out.
- Pre-code invoices for Maintenance Manager approval.
- Confirm that service history is included by technicians before closing out work orders
Planned Maintenance Scheduling
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to build a planned maintenance schedule for on-road and off-road equipment.
- Monitor planned maintenance schedules and ensure Maintenance Foremen are updated.
- Order service kits required for scheduled maintenance.
Warranty & Inspection Monitoring
- Track and monitor warranty-related maintenance concerns across all equipment.
- Review and sort equipment inspection sheets, creating repair requests for identified deficiencies.
Reporting & Administrative Tasks
- Update the utilization spreadsheet monthly.
- Upload fluid manager log sheets into Eclipse to maintain accurate equipment costing.
