Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and develop their skills in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced electricians, providing a foundation for a successful career in the electrical trade. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and an interest in electrical installation and maintenance projects.

Duties

  • Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit installation, and other electrical tasks
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation work
  • Work with low voltage systems as well as standard electrical wiring
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes during all tasks
  • Support the setup of electrical components according to project specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems

Experience

  • Prior experience in industrial electrician work or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, low voltage systems, and construction practices is a plus
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety procedures is advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied responsibilities within the electrical trade

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
