We are seeking Licensed Industrial Mechanics (Millwrights) and Industrial Electricians to join our Maintenance teams across Ontario

LOCATION(s)
: Etobicoke, Mississauga and Kitchener

STARTING RATE:
$42/hr (depending on experience) + applicable shift premiums

SHIFT
: Various Shifts (Flexibility and Weekends required)

Industrial Mechanic / Millwright (433A)
The Millwright is a member of the maintenance team and as such, participates in team efforts to achieve assigned department goals; works closely with other team members to ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time, according to SOPs and regulatory requirements; and provides support to other roles within the maintenance team.

Your primary responsibilities includes performing maintenance, install, examine, replace or repair components; troubleshoot mechanical systems and building services. In addition, you will provide technical support to production teams in supporting production uptime, ensuring optimal functioning of the production equipment and facilities. This position provides critical support in reducing production down time, maintaining overhaul programs, preventive maintenance of equipment, and effective troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Our production equipment helps us bake delicious products for our customers every day, and you'll be in charge of making sure the lines are ready to run

  • Must have Valid Red Seal Millwright License - Industrial Millwright 433A.
  • 3-5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices, pneumatic & hydraulic fields is required.
  • Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required.
  • Comfortable using computers
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently
  • Comfortable with occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
  • You really enjoy working in a fast paced environment where every day can bring new and unique challenges
  • Ability to work a flexible shifts (day/afternoon/night), weekends and holdiays

Industrial / Maintenance Electrician (442A)
As the Maintenance Electrician, you will be required to repair and maintain industrial bakery equipment to ensure a safe and reliable operation. Your primary responsibility includes perform electrical maintenance, install, examine, replace or repair components; trouble shoot electrical systems and building services. In addition, you will provide technical support to production teams in supporting production uptime, ensuring optimal functioning of the production equipment and facilities.   • Must have Industrial Electrician License (442A )
  • Refrigeration Operator Class "B" Certification is an asset
  • 3-5 years' industrial, electrical and mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry
  • General knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and ability to assist all trades people as required
  • Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required
  • Ability to work a flexible shifts (day/afternoon/night), weekends and holidays
