Calgary, Alberta, Canada English Outdoors & Global Village Full time $30,000 - $36,000 per year

Global Village is excited to start offering part-time, evening French language classes at our Calgary school and is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to take the lead in this new program. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, developing, and delivering engaging French language lessons to adult learners at the intermediate level in a supportive and communicative environment.

Key Responsibilities:·

  • Design and implement an effective curriculum that meets the needs and goals of diverse adult learners.
  • Create interactive, student-centred lessons that promote language development in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback for the growth and improvement of the French language program.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fluent in French
  • University Degree from a recognized univeristy
  • French teaching credential such as CEFLE or DAEFLE
  • Preference will be given to those with at least 1-2 years of French language teaching experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and flexibility
  • Ability to produce a clean police record check upon offer
