Position Title: Production Data Administrator

Reports To: Area Team Lead/Supervisor

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Position Overview:

The Production Data Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate ERP entries and supporting production data integrity. This role ensures that raw material consumptions, outputs, and related production data are accurately recorded and reconciled. Responsibilities include physical labelling of outputs when required, monitoring data accuracy, reviewing production paperwork, and investigating discrepancies. When ERP/data entry tasks are complete, the Production Data Administrator will support the team by assisting with production activities as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and maintain ERP data for raw material consumption, production outputs,labour hoursand related transactions.
  • Maintain and report production information within the Production Tracker.
  • Perform physical labelling of outputs as required to align with ERP and production records.
  • Reviewand auditproduction paperwork for accuracy and make necessary corrections.
  • Monitor data and inventory accuracy for assigned inputs/outputs.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies or errors, working closely with team members.
  • Collaborate with production staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely data recording.
  • Assist with production activities during downtime from data entry responsibilities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience inExcel, Microsoft Office,data entry, inventory control, or ERP systems (experience withSage X3is an asset).
  • Strong understanding of production practices and workflows.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to shift between administrative tasks and production support in a fast-paced environment.
