Job Summary

Butler Built Inc is seeking a Full Time 310T Truck and Coach Technician to join our Team at our new to us facility

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Follow company health and safety policies
  • Inspect trucks, trailers and coach's
  • complete full annual/semi annual inspections as per MTO requirements
  • Repair mechanical/ hydraulic issues, running repairs
  • working mostly inside but some outside work i.e. running repairs and bays are full
  • knowledge of proper handling of hand/power tools
  • Record all work completed on proper forms
  • Must be able to perform tire changes
  • General knowledge of engine scanning systems
  • Knowledge of Peterbilt, Freightliners, and Volvo's
  • Knowledge of Car Carriers
  • knowledge of Hydraulics
  • Must have own tools
  • Must have knowledge on DEF systems, electrical systems, air systems, fuel systems, brake systems and Hydraulic systems (car carrier)
  • Must be able to trouble shoot
  • Maintain a safe a clean work area
  • Must be motivated
  • Must be a self starter as well as a TEAM player,
  • productive and efficient worker
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
  • Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
  • Knowledge or signed on with MTO - DRIVEON Program is considered an asset

Experience

  • 310T Truck/Coach Technician Certificate in good standing
  • 2 Years experience working on trucks, trailers and coach's
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Full time year round work
  • Monday to Friday 7am to 4 pm with unpaid 1 hour lunch
  • Benefits package after 3 months
  • Wages to be determined on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
